While the team found many supporters, raising the funds constituted a major hurdle. But the more difficulties the team faced, the more unified and determined they became to make Enat a reality. Each founder contributed their own time and resources.

Women own 64 percent of the bank, and compose many major leadership positions from the senior bank management to the Board of Directors. The founders succeeded in their vision through commitment and hard work, and are prepared to continue to nurture the bank as it establishes itself. The founders believe after Enat succeeds in Ethiopia, it can be expanded across Africa.

1. Junior Customer Service Specialist

Job Summery
Essential Function
  • Receives and delivers physical cash from and to Cash Administrator
  • Collects/pays cash and debit/credit the respective accounts
  • Checks and balance physical cash with the Cash Administrator
  • Retrieve customer signatures, pictures and verify customers
  • Updates passbook, prints deal slip or issues a customer advice.
  • Collects and validates original Payment Instruments against the System.
  • Issues and signs Payment Instruments
  • Verifies and Validates DRS incoming transfers
  • Initiates DRS outgoing transfers
  • Exchanges cash denominations and posts the transactions
  • Performs other duties as required by the supervisor.
Job Requirement
  • Job Requirements: Graduates of years 2020, 2021 & 2022 G.C. with BA in Accounting, Banking & Insurance, Banking & Finance, Management, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Economics or related fields with minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00.
  • No prior experience is required

2. Branch Manager – Grade C

Job Summery
Essential Function
  • Remains primarily responsible and accountable for the overall performance of the Branch,
  • Engages in all operational activities of the branch as required by the volume and intensity of the work,
  • Prepares annual action plan of the branch and manages all resources availed to accomplish and meet the goal,
  • Lead the overall branch’s operation and prepare branch business plan in conjunction with the respected department,
  • Ensure the proper implementation of policies and procedure throughout the branch,
  • Prepare & submit periodic performance report of the branch
Job Requirement
  • MA/MBA in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Management and any other related fields with 6.5 years of experience or BA in the same fields with 8.5 years of experience in banking industry, of which 2 years in customer services manager grade B /or 3 years as Branch accounts administrator position Grade A

3. Branch Manager – Grade B

Job Summery
Essential Function
  • Remains primarily responsible and accountable for the overall performance of the Branch,
  • Engages in all operational activities of the branch as required by the volume and intensity of the work,
  • Ensures the success and best achievement of the Branch in providing excelling customer services,
  • Aggressively engages in marketing and promotional activities,
  • Cascades the corporate plan of the Bank to the staffs of the Branch and follows up the implementation,
  • Prepares annual action plan of the branch and manages all resources availed to accomplish and meet the goal
Job Requirement
  • MA/MBA in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Management and any other related fields with 7.5 years of experience or BA in the same fields with 9.5 years of experience in banking industry, of which 1years in branch management position or 1 year on Branch Manager Grade C and/or CSM on grade A branch
  • Place of Work: Wolaita Sodo, Sululta, Jimma
