Logistics Associate responsibilities include:
- Supervise Scheduled Maintenance & Repair, Overhaul, Reconditioning, Modifications, in a most efficient manner with the ultimate objective to ensure that all vehicles are maintained to a high standard and roadworthy condition.
- Oversee the Materials Management aspect of the operation and in particular the controlling, justification and issuance of Spare Parts, tyres, lubricants & Consumable Materials.
- Assist in the forecasting and requisitioning of spare parts: Preparation of orders for spare parts / tires and materials required for the operation and submit these requests for the approval of the Workshop Manager.
- Carefully record and maintain an Inventory list of all Tools & Workshop Equipment.
- Provide oversight and supervision to all staff and ensure that the work is carried out to a satisfactory standard as required by the Organisation, including strict timekeeping and completion of timesheets.
- Involved in the control and cost effectiveness of the vehicles and prepare recommendations for write-offs, where necessary.
- Investigate means to constantly reduce the operational costs of the Fleet pertaining to maintenance activities.
- Using VMRS (Vehicle Maintenance & Reporting Standards), Reason-For-Repair, Work-Done-Codes and Component Codes, Analyse Data to improves maintenance and recommend modifications to solve technical problems.
- Qualifications and Experience:
- Completed at least secondary school and a full course/diploma at technical college or First university degree, in mechanics with experience gained in both light and heavy vehicles usage.
- Secondary school education completion with a minimum of 6 years of working experience OR a Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of work experience.

- Compile and escalate sensitive complaints like harassment, SEA, abuse, exploitation and categorize in line with the standard operating procedures
Qualifications and Experience:
- Completion of secondary school education or post-secondary certificate in the related functional area and/or a diploma or a university degree in economics, business administration, social sciences, development studies or management.
- At least Four years of Programme related experience. Community engagement experience is an added advantage.

- Fluency in oral and written communication in English, Somali, and Afaan Oromoo ( Multilingual), Knowledge of Amharic is advantageous..

- Assist in assessing partners’ monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual operational and financial reports, including the pipeline report for Activity 5 (CCARB – Climate Change Adaptation and Resilience Building).
- Ensure the verification for operational partners’ financial report has been done by WFP sub-offices (including travel to SOs) and the Activity managers.
- Assist in monitoring operational partners’ expenditures against agreements and disbursement plans, as well as legally binding donor proposals linked to agreed log-frames, where needed
- Conduct regular financial analysis and budget reviews and provide recommendations to the Activity managers.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Completion of secondary school education or University degree in Economics, Accounting, Financial Management or other related subjects.
- At least six years of working experience in financial and grants management.
Requirements and skills
- Experience in financial management for cross-cutting programme is desirable.

- Experience in the establishment of partnerships with public and private sector actors; understanding of policy issues.
- Understanding of food security vulnerability and ability to link analysis to programme design, in the context of WFP programmes.
